Project details
My son and I travelled to Scotland in the Spring of 2011. Visiting castles wasn’t exactly my idea of a trip but this vacation was for him and and it was time to indulge his passion for the medieval times. Scotland is abundant with castles so we decided to cover the northern end namely Aberdeenshire and The Highlands.
We travelled along the castle trail and ventured west towards the Highlands. We came across a variety of terrain ranging from green lush fields, dry lands and snow covered mountain peaks.
